I have the Sub set low so you wouldn't know it was there. Its blends perfectly with the 19's.
If you turn it off you notice your missing that last bit of depth and weight to the music(its really subtle and nice) and on music with really deep bass it creates bass you can feel in the room.

It has 4 presets in its memory so you can save setups for movies or parties where you want a bit more volume or higher bass frequencies produced.
A great addition to the 19's but i wouldn't advise a lesser sub as it would take away from the speakers instead of helping them.

PMC produce generous amounts of bass, but somewhat delayed by comparison with either reflex or sealed designs due to transmission lines.

Yes, i would describe the bass produced by the PMC/Krell combination as comparable with a night club in sheer force and SPL ability, but muddy in comparison to ATC's Bass

I was never able to take full advantage of their imaging abilities due to room placement and the Arcam A22 used as a pre amp letting the side down.
