Hi Thanks for posting the pics for me.

My previous system consisted of
Linn LP 12 turntable with the Naim Aro tonearm and a linn troika cartridgr
I had what naim called the prefix which was a phonestage fitted inside the Linn
I had a seperate powersupply for both the linn and the prefix these were custom made by a friend and were superior to those made by Naim.
My preamp was the Nam 52/supercap( this was the top of the range, the supercap is the powersupply)
power amp's were a pair of Naim 135 monoblock amps
my speakers were the Naim SBl apeakers
i changed the Naim power amps for the ecs stereo power amp which was a huge upgrade, when Ecs made a preamp i had one of the first batch(i had heard a pre production model which was a clear cut winner after that i upgraded the speakers to a pair of Atc 100 passive version
I then upgraded the turntable to the Sme last change was to move the ecs pre/power combo into my second system with the naim sbl speakers.I purchased another ecs preamp and the atc 100a speakers and also upgraded my stands from the Mana range to the pagode stands

Hi artist

Was it a worthwhile upgrade?

Sorry for the late reply

The tweeter upgrade is worth doing it is smoother.

Still waiting for the Atc in house tweeter

Did you have SL drivers already? Otherwise the upgrade is quite expensive (two new woofers and two new tweeters and a new baffle). Also what AMP pack was it Mark II?

BTW - Beautiful setup. Looks gorgeous. Awesome gear behind those ATC's.

The new 25mm tweeter is still a ways off I should think, although you are never sure in manufacturing. (You can have a design that works but building multiples at a time and all sound the same is a different challenge all together).

The current SEAS will help a lot over what you have and the new 25mm tweeter, when it comes, will be a drop in to the SEAS tweeter cut out pattern. So I would do the SEAS now and not wait, tweeter cost alone is not that high. You'd need to replace baffle anyway, get the SL's, do the amp service.
