Hi emgee, thanks.

The rack is Optimum Prestige. It's modular. Any kit size changes can be accommodated by ordering different length columns. The glass shelves sit in between the columns. There are lots of different finishes.

Nice room and system Terry - well installed too.

Do the 405's push the 40's well?

spacey thanks. They seem to have a decent grip. They've been modded and upgraded, blackgate caps and stuff, so has the pre, a one man company called Fidele Audio in Scotland, hughe difference before and after. I have one driving LF and the other mid and highs. The only thing I've noticed straight away is a extra couple of clicks on the gain. Which seems needed to achieve the same listening level as the GS10's the 40's have replaced. I put this down to them having a slightly lower sensitivy.

.....or is it the increase in SQ that you just don't notice the increased volume level

Many congratulations on the new speakers :D As others have said, very nice setup and very nice room :) I like how the kit and rack is discreet if you want to forget about it but very classy if you want to look at it :)
