Hansie with SCM19 and P1

Postby Hans1966 » Thu Aug 01, 2019 7:41 pm

Hi there,
I'm Hans or Hansie from the Netherlands.
Got interested in ATC due the sealed box construction, love that kind of bass.
After some listening it isnt even its strongest point, the mids are open, bright and clear. Piano and female voices I listen the most.

As seen in the topic name I have now the SCM19's, the new curved ones in cherry. Due to my house I cant use floor standers.
But end of the year moving to my new house and already scanning for white SCM40's , active if budget allows.
Amp is the P1, I got it used from a friends friend. Suits the 19's better than the CA840A V2 it replaces.
Unfortunately the remote is missing. Normally no issue (hardly use them) but the micro main switch on the back is .... what it is. (yes, good reason the buy actives :))
Still have to contact the dealer for a replacement.

All my CD's are copied to my Aurender N100H with also Qobuz present.
Dac is the Chord Mojo (also have the Poly) but thats temporary , it will be replaced by the Hugo TT2 which is on back order for 6 months now (my dealer is not the best and law suit coming up for no delivery and answering mails..grr)

Previous where some Aurum Cantus and Dynaudio Compound 3.

regards,
Hans
