Bloody hell mate I thought the 25's had RCA connectors as well as xlr  iv currently got a audiolab processor and I was planing on using this for a good few months until I can afford a decent pre amp but it has no Xlr inputs  will I get any problems using xlr to RCA cables?

I've used xlr to rca converters and xlr to rca cables and never had any problems, so you should be fine :)

That's good to hear mate thanks matt :D have you heard the 25's mate? I know you had the 50's just wondering if any one has heard both and can tell me how they compare.

No problem :)

I haven't heard the 25's, but I have a feeling your going to be impressed. Active is the way forward. There is just an openness and ease to the way they make music and precision and resolution that I hadn't heard before actives :)

Keep us posted on their arrival :D

Well the 100's I heard have left a lasting impression on me mate ha ha I know the 25's won't have the same low end but I'll be well happy if they sound similar but on a smaller scale of course. I'll let you know in February mate. Cheers :D

From what I have heard, the 25's are something really special. One scm100 owner swapped to 25's and doesn't seem to be missing anything.
Spacey also loves his 25's, and they must be something special as I think this is a record for Spacey for longest time with the same pair of speakers(Sorry Spacey, just pulling your leg ;) )

Cheers

Very true Matt, they are indeed special and have proven to be as I've had them coming on to two years now!! Better than 50's IMHO and much more 'domestic' than you'd think from a pure bred pro near to midfield monitor :)
