Here's a great piece on a great sound engineer with a great studio and gear based on ATC SCM 110!

Thanks for this review !
Note how they preferred the PMC because the ATC is too "rich and dark " in the sound - I even find this with my 100s that ATC have perhaps become too "musical" for strict neutrality but of course eminently enjoyable.
Note their final comment : with a brilliant speaker from the UK like the PMC Brexit is doubly painful ! :D

The new on-wall speaker was reviewed as part of an all ATC 5.1 system that consisted of four HTS7 speakers, one HTS7C centre loudspeaker and the C1 Sub.
Reviewer, Ed Selley found the speakers to offer outstanding performance in an easily mounted, modern, discrete cabinet.
Concluding he says, “An extremely happy marriage of capability and convenience, ATC’s HTS speakers might be just what your cinema room is crying out for.”
Ed Selley, Home Cinema Choice, July 2017.

Interesting conclusion but PMC is 3,600 Euro and ATC 1,960 Euro. Personally I never liked PMC over ATC, because of their design they seem to sound big and perhaps a bit more impressive as a result, but not sure about PMC being more neutral or accurate than ATC.

PMC's pricing has gone crazy over the last few years.

I am sure, and they aren't as accurate! Even the frequency sweep shows this, with a suckout in the middle and a boosted high treble for added airiness! The bass bump also artificially boosts the bass extension. They nevertheless sound very enjoyable, especially off axis, but not as accurate as the ATC.

Completely agree. The prices need to all move down a 'slot', to the next model!

I'm sure the dealers love the mark up, and the owner is boosting his pension. Still, it's a British success story, so good for them.

A better comparison would have been the 19s.
Interesting that HiFiChoice found the "clarity" of the PMCs a bit fatiguing in the end preferring the ATC 19.
