Will there be an upgrade option for the older models. It looks the part, I wonder how much the distortion has been reduced by building there own ? :)

About time!! :)

I take it these are the ones used in the SCM200 and SCM300 being 34mm??

I was speaking to Bob at ATC last week, he mentioned the smaller ones were not quite ready yet, due to the coating used on the fabric ??

Interesting! (and long time coming). Very curious to hear reviews and owners reactions.
And hoping a ATC tweeter will become available in the 'Entry' series (and hopefully as a retrofit as well!)

Hi Ben

Your welcome.

The 34mm HF unit should already be available for domestic SCM300 monitors. I hope the 25mm will be ready next year : Perhaps i should help ATC speed up the process by helping with the design of the 25mm HF unit

Hi Matt

Yes, the SH34-76 does look like a work of art :)

Anyway i've now got a SH34-76 HF unit in the shop and it really is a beautifully built, solid and a heavy work of art :D Without doubt the icing on an already exceedingly good cake 8-) I can't belive how heavy the SH34-76 is though   Just looking at it in the flesh tells me that the SH34-76 was designed to handle very high levels of power  and to help ATC monitors reproduce the power of the sound to even higher level of quality

Pictures to follow :)

All the best

Hi Rick

Thanks for the feedback :)

I'm very interested to hear how they perform compared to the already excellent Seas units.

Cheers

I spoke to Bob@ATC about these, He mentioned the design for the 25mm unit is almost complete. They're waiting for a production date for the chemical they coat the domes with. Its a special type designed specifically for the 25mm driver. He also said all drivers will be retro fittable and It's something i could even do myself :)

Rick, thanks for the info, I'd expect nothing less from ATC but great to hear all the drivers will be the business now :D

Spacey, thanks for the update, much appreciated, hopefully not long to wait now :D
