I went to Mindelo Cape Verde in 2007 looking for my ancestors and filmed this Carnival which my son and his friends then put their own music to. Look for the Black Warriors dancing it truly looked fearsome but what Rhydim dem got.

Looks like great fun

My Aunty & Uncle bought an apartment out there a couple of years ago. I think its just about ready now.
Looks worth a visit someday.
